Hardis Group has appointed Marie-Agnès Brochier Human Resources Director. The creation of this position comes a few months after two new executive vice president positions were created and demonstrates the company's aim of expanding its management team to achieve its growth targets.
49-year-old Marie-Agnès Brochier has over 15 years' experience in management positions and latterly as human resources director. "In the various companies where she has worked, Marie-Agnès has proven her ability to work closely with the general management, core business management teams and staff to drive a business-oriented HR policy," explained Christian Balmain, Hardis Group President.
As HR Director and a member of the operating committee (set up in early 2013), her role is to design, develop and deploy an HR policy which supports Hardis Group's business strategy, in line with the company's values. She is responsible for implementing a strategic plan to prioritize the recruitment and development of new talents while aligning the skills of existing employees with the business plan. In particular, she is in charge of contributing to the development of expertise combining mastery of new technologies and specialized knowledge of distribution, insurance, transport and industry sectors. In this role, Marie-Agnès Brochier will manage a team of 5 people.
Before joining Hardis, Marie-Agnès Brochier was HR Development and Engineering Business Partner Manager in the R&D unit of Fresenius Kabi in Brézins (400 employees). As Director from 2008 to 2010, she contributed to HR development and the opening of new Mutualité Française de l'Isère sites (mutual society with 600 employees). Before that, Marie-Agnès Brochier spent nearly 20 years at Mars in various roles. She was sales manager then brand manager at Unisabi from 1988 to 1996 then appointed Services Purchasing Manager at Europet. In 1998, she joined the HR department at Unisabi (a Business Unit with 1300 employees) where she held the positions of Human Resources Manager for sales/support services (500 employees), Human Resources Manager in charge of recruitment, organization and management (for all sites and divisions) and finally, in 2001, Human Resources and Industrial Relations Director for Masterfoods France (2300 employees).
Marie-Agnès Brochier graduated from CERAM (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Nice Sophia-Antipolis) in 1988 with a degree with HR option. She then completed a range of additional human resources training (job evaluation and recruitment, compensation, individual coaching, organization development, etc.).
