The warehouse management software is getting new features to enable companies to comply with the requirements of the new CLP legislation and the Seveso 3 directive.

Hardis Group, a digital services company and software publisher, announced that the new version of the hazardous material management module for its warehouse management software is now available. Reflex WMS now supports the new dangerous substance and preparation classification system of the CLP legislation and integrates new features to automatically calculate the Seveso 3 threshold for facilities that may present major industrial risks.

Applicable since June 1, 2015, regulation 1272/2008 (CLP) and the transposition of the Seveso 3 directive lead to new imperatives for facilities that store and handle hazardous materials.

To help its customers comply with these provisions, Hardis Group has provided its warehouse management software with new features: Reflex WMS can now manage the hazard categories corresponding to the 28 new hazard classes of the CLP legislation (physical hazards to health and the environment), CLP/GHS hazard icons, hazard statements (H statements) and precautionary measures (P statements) and various sections in keeping with the new ICPE (facilities classified for the protection of the environment) nomenclature. It also includes the possibility of making an inventory of accumulated risks relating to dangerous substances and preparations present in a warehouse, and calculating the establishment's Seveso status (industrial risks) and ICPE classification (environmental protection) on the fly . As soon as the latter exceeds a threshold (high or low), managers are immediately notified by Reflex WMS to block the storage of new hazardous materials.
